• On March 22, 2019, JJB Pizza sponsored a job recruitment/teacher appreciation event at Forest Hill High School. Seniors and Juniors who attend Forest Hill had an opportunity to learn about different job openings at Pizza Hut in Jackson, MS and surrounding areas. Scholars also had an opportunity to learn about scholarships and tuition reimbursements with Pizza Hut. JJB Pizza’s representatives Charisse Jelks and Mrs. Williams interviewed scholars on the spot. JJB Pizza provided free pizza to all the scholars and teachers who attended the event. JJB Pizza also raffled off a $25.00 gift card to participants who turned in a resume and donated to Forest Hill Teacher Appreciation Event. Partners in Education Coordinator, Ms. Tameka Ivy stated that it was a wonderful event that offered our scholars a rare opportunity to learn about job openings that are available to them in their community and obtain employment.
